Kingdoms of Requiem
5 Kingdoms:
Striebia:
The strong and noble peoples of the northwestern most continent, hailing from beyond the icy peaks to the north, the Striebian Empire has long been a major player on the world stage. With limited natural resources, these people have long been known to export what they could and were best at; themselves. Bounty hunters, rangers, mercenaries, legions of well trained troops abound from the shores of this land making their way throughout the world.
Graele:
The strong mountain fortress holds the seat of the leader of the free peoples champion. This country, unlike any other in the world, has a champion who rules over the people. To be crowned in this way, the person must show unwavering loyalty to his country, and to be chosen by the Saints. Upon the ending of the era of a champion a new champion is selected in accordance with the Covenant. This country has strong links to the Saints, and peoples that feel strong
connections to the divine travel to this land in the hopes of joining the ranks of the Justicars.
Uvira:
The nation of wonders, streets filled with marvels that would be unique even in the most elevated houses of other nations. Arcana, Alchemy, Craftsmanship lead the way in this country. The highest citadels and strongholds of the global guilds reside here. The city is ruled by the Court of Certitude, each guild has one seat on the court. Council of Magi while holding seats, also maintain a deliberate distance from politics preferring to keep to their research.
Brysia
Fertile lands of the south west, long having been the dominant agricultural capital of the five kingdoms. Notably the most exoctic spices grow along the
appropriately named “Spice Coast” along the North Eastern side of the continent. King Amaud “the Bold” Rules the continent, while stern in his ruling deemed to be most fair, and merciful to his peoples. King Amaud is guarded by the illustrious Dragons Guard, incorruptible and unyielding in their duties to guard the king and see to the peace of Brysia. With the best living conditions and average standard of living (though some in Uvira would deem it ‘simple’) in the known lands the people of Brysia are sturdy, healthy and generally happy
Athos
The wonderous world of the elves, at the center stands the world tree Ydrissil. The druids believe that its mighty roots are the center to all life on Requiem. The depths of their wondrous forest are yet unmapped, and not much is known. While the Elves are not hermits, and travel prodigiously with even many living outside the realm of the Athos. Travel into the deep forests beyond the edge cities is generally restricted and those who do venture deep into the wode have trouble recalling specific information about what resides within
